Mobile Recording
During this period of Lockdown I continue with my remote mixing and mastering service. Please note I am not currently doing any studio or mobile recording and will update this page when it is considered safe to do so. If you are making a video recording I can provide quality digital audio recordings and then I have the post production capabilities to add this audio to video, using Apple's Final Cut or Soundtrack Pro and also Adobe Premier. If you would like a high quality Video and Audio Recording please contact me.
I can make Mono, Stereo or Multitrack recordings up to 28 tracks simultaneously, using a MacBook along with MOTU, AVID and Focusrite interfaces, an 8 track AD converter and Logic, Cubase or Pro Tools. N.B. If more channels are needed I will arrange extra hardware to achieve this.
I am an experienced sound engineer and can record you in pretty much any location. Whether it's in your home or on location, in a rehearsal studio or at a gig. I have recorded many projects on location varying in size from front rooms to the Fairfield Halls in Croydon.
A previous recording of mine is Steve Hackett at Trading Boundaries on June 30th, 2012. Steve loved the initial mixes. I have also recorded John Wetton at Trading Boundaries. I also recorded Cutting Crew in December 2011 and 2012 at Trading Boundaries. I also recorded Focus at Trading Boundaries for their 2011 tour. I also have recorded Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash at Trading Boundaries in Sussex (4th Feb 2011) in conjunction with AE Productions who were shooting a video of the gig. I have mixed 3 tracks from the performance and they were added to the video by Andrew at AE Productions. AE Productions also shot a video of Focus at the same venue back in September 2010. I was away at the time but have mixed and mastered two tracks to go with the video. These are available on VIMEO.
In the last 3 years I have recorded performances of classical works by composer Keith Burstein. 2 of these at a small Arts club next to Waterloo station and an opera performance in the East End of London.
